Reebok Nano X4 is not a shoe designed for Crossfit, but rather for functional fitness and HIIT training.
One of the most obvious changes is the Flexweave Knit upper.
The X4 are exceptional in that for the first time ever, Reebok decided to make a shoe with a heel that has a 7mm drop, which is quite a noticeable difference from the 4mm of previous models.

So with the higher heel, the X4 should be quite good for squatting and weightlifting since you have a higher heel and therefore good for people who dont quite have top-notch mobility. However, the shoe isnt as stable as the models before it, which is a significant drawback.


A great thing that Im sure a lot of people will welcome is that the X4 is the lightest model of anything Reebok has made so far, hence you hardly feel them on your foot. They are even lighter than the previous model. They also fit great for a variety of running disciplines thanks to the softness and a new feature called Floatride Energy, which promotes cushioning on impact. So DU or box jumps will be great in these shoes.
On the back of the shoe, you will find a material that should make the HSPUs go beautifully smooth and you dont have to worry about the shoe somehow sounding like this as it is adapted for this.

As for the width of the shoe, Reebok still sticks to making the Nana for people with wider feet and therefore you dont have to worry about not having room inside the shoe. The width of the shoe is pretty much the same as the 10s. Theyll also be perfect for you if youre looking for a shoe thats partially cushioned and want to spend, say, a whole day at the gym in them.


If youre moving up from the Nano X, you should get the same size in the X4, as the shape of the shoe is pretty similar.
