Mathew Fraser left the sport

Five times Crossfit Games champion ended his career today.
He announced that on his social media accounts with dedicated post.

His first professional sport was weightlifting, where he reached top level and got invitation into USA Olympic centre, where he train.

Unfortunately, Fraser injured his lower back and had to undergo surgery. Many doctors said him, that he will never come back to the sport of weightlifting.

He retired from weightlifting after few years of competing and found Crossfit, where he became absolute legend.

There was no one who beat him after two runners-up on Crossfit Games in years 2014 and 2015.

He won 5 Crossfit Games titles in a row from 2016 to 2020.

He said, that the most important moment in his career was year 2015, where he decided, that he will go on 100% into Crossfit and left his job.

Next years are history.

He gave CrossFit so much and left behind him such a big legacy.

One from many reasons, why people will remember him is his motto #HWPO - Hard Work Pays Off, which motivate so many crossfiters around the world to give absolutely everything to every workout.

He is the first person, who won 5 Crossfit Games titles in a row and beat thanks to that record of legendary Rich Froning with 4 titles in a row.

He won the Crossfit Games in 2020 with the biggest difference on points between first and second position. The difference was 545 points.
He became a role model for many people and will be remembered forever.
