Over the weekend, I competed in the German Throwdown 2025 in Mainz, where I competed in the Intermediate Individual Female category.
After two days of intense workouts, I managed to advance to the finals, for a top 10 finish, and ultimately took home 10th place.

The race weekend was divided into three workouts on Saturday and two on Sunday, followed by the finals. Each tested a different aspect of physical preparation - from gymnastic, technical and strength skills, to challenging conditioning sections that tested the head and will to endure to the end.

The whole race had a great atmosphere. But what the organizers failed to do this year was the facilities for the athletes, which were really inadequate for so many people, and also the relatively small warm-up room.
The live stream was absolutely mastered and the schedule going on time plus the atmosphere of the race was perfect.
I was really pleased with the strong Czech team that made the trip to Germany. It was amazing to see how many Czech athletes are making a name for themselves on the European stage, cheering each other on and supporting each other.
I think these athletes deserve a mention:
Individual ELITE female - 14th place Verča Benešovská
Team ELITE male/male:
6th place UNHINGED & UNBROKEN (Adam Liška, Áron Lysí)
12. FLEX APPEAL (Karel Škrobánek, Jakub Balon)
14th place SILESIAN EAGLES (Matěj Baláž, Lukáš Neminarz)
15th place MAX FITNESS (Ondřej Šimek, Michal Ulč)
Team ELITE mix:
11. WE RISE UP (Marek Vácha, Martina Chromá)
Team ELITE female/female:
2nd place BCROSS GYM (Brittany Harris, Nela Nikodémová)
Team INTERMEDIATE male/male:
15. (Lukáš Kobza, Jakub Homola)
A big thank you to Workout.eu for their support and cooperation - and also to BLOK11 for the race t-shirts and sweatshirts they prepared for us for this weekend.
