It is one of the best weightlifting shoes which was made for the Chinese Weightlifting team.
The effective heel height is 20 mm.
Anta is the closest to all the features of Romaleos 2.

If you are going from Nike Romaleos 2 or 4 then we recommend going for the same size.

We removed insole for each size and remeasured it exactly. We created size chart based on this.

Anta weightlifting shoes have been specially developed for the Chinese weightlifting team and everyone is lifting in them. Chinese weightlifting is one of the best in the world and, for example, they won 7 gold and 1 silver medal at the 2020 Olympic Games.

 

Construction

  • The shoe was made very well and is one of the most robust weightlifters you can get on the market. When creating this shoe, emphasis was placed on meeting the requirements of the best weightlifters. Thats why the shoe perfectly encircles the foot and thus provides maximum stability and strength, thanks to which your performance will shift a bit again. The shoe is also partially flexible in bending, so it is great for both the snatch and clean and jerk
  • We can find two straps on the shoe that will tighten your foot to perfection. The straps work so as to contract the foot sufficiently, but at the same time do not restrict the movement of the foot.
  • Effective heel height is 20 mm (0.787 inches)
  • The shoes have an integrated lacing, which is very durable and so there is no so-called "cutting of laces", which arises from poor tying technique
  • The shoes also have side support, which helps with stability to the sides, which is not found in many shoes.

The upper part is made of swede leather

Chinese weightlifting team calls them weight lifting shoes “ton-level shoes”, which means the shoes can sustain one ton’s weight…

Tightening tapes: quality material working with Velcro

 

Who is the shoe suitable for:

  • The shoes are especially suitable for more advanced weightlifters who already have something behind them and are serious about weightlifting in the future as well.
  • The Anta shoes are designed for the heaviest scales. For competitors and professionals, it is one of the best choices.
  • If you are looking for a shoe only for squats, then Anta shoes will serve you perfectly for both front and back squats.
  • On the other hand, the shoes are not suitable for functional training, mainly due to their weight.
  • Due to the raised heel, they are also not completely suitable for deadlifts.

 

How to choose the right size of shoes ANTA based on the previous weightlifter?

We compared the shoes to many weightlifters and they are very similar to the Nike Romaleos 2. The Anta shoes are only slightly narrower. If you order the same size as the Romaleos 2, then there is a high probability that you will hit the size. On the contrary, they are a bit wider than Adidas Adipower. But they are quite similar in size.
If you are going from Legacy Lifter, then we recommend to go half size up in EUR sizes.

Return/Exchange Policies

You may return an unused item in new condition within 14 days of receipt. Please note on the packing slip if you would like to return or exchange the item, and enclose the packing slip in the returning package. Once we receive the package, we will refund you for the full product price or ship the requested size to you.

  • Customers will be responsible for the original shipping charges and return shipping charges unless our customer service department determines that we are at fault for an order error or product defect.
  • Please allow 3-5 days for your return to be processed or an exchange to be sent.
  • All shoes returned without a shoebox or with the shipping label affixed to the shoe box will be subject to a €10 fee.
  • Returns from any non-EU country are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
  • We do not accept used or damaged products for return or exchange.
  • In terms of change for a different size for countries, which are not part of the European Union, the customer is obligated to pay all delivery costs.

Sizing review

The shoe is amazing, but the sizing is quite off / confusing.

I normally get 28.5cm shoes for streetwear as I have 28cm long feet.

I have a Legacy 2 lifter which is 28.5 cm long and is a bit too big.

With the ANTA I could've either gone for 28cm or 28.7cm (43-44.5 in EU sizing » apparently there is no in-between)

I.e. the length of the insole is exactly the length of my feet, however, the toe box is quite narrow, so it is a bit uncomfortable: I can wear it for about 20 minutes at a time » with the right show stretcher (or done by a professional shoemaker, as I've done it) you can likely stretch it enough (without any outer or inner marks or issue » no wear an tear as a result) so that it becomes wearable.

I had it stretched a bit (again no marks or anything changed with the shoe), which means now I can wear it for about 40 minutes without an issue.

Otherwise the shoe looks amazing and is at least a super firm fit :)
