Size
This design, featuring a carbon fiber POWERPLATE plate, maximizes ground force and provides explosive power, resulting in greater strength and efficiency with every stroke. The Electro-Plated stabilizing wrap provides unmatched support, and the TYRTAC™ Outsole delivers superior grip and durability, combining power, comfort and performance for elite athletes.
Upper part of the shoe is made of high quality and strong synthetic material. The front of the shoe has added material for better toe protection and a firmer fit for the foot.
The double Velcro closure includes a place to hide the laces. The D-ring has a scalloped surface, which is an interesting detail. The laces are stretched inside and hold the foot in the shoe very well.
The heel is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), but the heel itself is solid wood with a 3mm rubber coating on the bottom. The rubber on the front and heel is very grippy. Heel strength is top notch, it doesnt move or flex.
The carbon plate runs from the middle of the shoe to the front. While the shoe is relatively stiff, the forefoot is surprisingly flexible compared to other shoes.
Heel height is 25.4 mm (1 inch) and provides very good balance.
The width of the shoe is large, while the length is consistent with the standard TYR Lifter shoe size.
