Romaleos 2 developed by Nike was created for Olimpic Games 2012 in London. Againts for their predecessors there are a lot of improvments. For example: better flexibility in front of shoe, make it lighter by using Nike Power Bridge, and create special outsole which make better heel durability.  As a result we have on of the best weightlifting shoes in history.

CONSTRUCTION

High quality is adventage of this shoes and its also very rugged. There are a big insistence for feet fitting, stability and firmness, but with cooperation with flexible point.
For this compromise Nike achieve with two strong belt on the right places.

Heel is one of the most important think on weightlifting shoes. Nike Romaleos 2 have 1,9 cm (0,75 inch ) height heel.

Integrated lacing of laces is one of the specialities on this model. Its very durable and also comfortable. On the last hole for laces there is a plastic armor, so there is no place for " cutting laces into  surrounding material.

Shoes also have side stability system for better stability. Just a very few types of weightlifting shoes use this technology. For example (Adidas AdiPower, Adidas Leistung Rio and some FastLifts from Inov8).

Shoe upper - it made by synthethic material. Its very durable and impervious. From this reason there are few ventilation "holes" for better felling in training. On the other side synthethic materilal is good for cleaning and resistence agains dirt

Shoes are designed primaly for advenced weightlifters, which have some experience with heavy training.

Romaleos 2 are dimensioned on heavier bar excercise. For  professional competiors is one of the best choice
Next, Romaleos are suitable for those which have a wider feets.

Ageint this, shoes arent  good for people with narrow feet (here we recomended weightlifting shoes from Adidas).
They absolutely wrong for deadlifts, and flexible workouts like rope skipping, lunges, atc.
