Picsil Heron: Testing a new type of calluses

I recently had the opportunity to try out the new Picsil Heron callouses and decided to share my experience. I tested these grips during several workouts at the gym, where the grips are fairly smooth and use magnesium.

During my testing of the Picsil Heron knot grips, I used them both with and without magnesium, and the grip on the trapeze was similar in both cases.
In the beginning, the grips stayed on the trapeze with no problem - just put them on and you were good to go.
After using them for a while, however, I started looking for the ideal grip position to ensure that the grips stayed stable on the trapeze. If you find the right grip, the grips hold very well.

As far as comfort goes, I have to say they are really gentle on the palms. The callouses have a "cushioned" side that provides more comfort during use, making them more comfortable than, for example, the RX grips from the same manufacturer. After a week of use, I can recommend these callouses especially for trapezes that are either slippery without magnesium or, on the contrary, very rough.
On trapezes that are rather smooth and have a layer of magnesium, the grips will not hold as firmly as, say, the Picsil RX.

Overall, I would rate these new Picsil Heron knot grips an 8/10. I would recommend them especially for specific conditions such as slippery or very rough trapezes.

The package also includes a handy pouch and sweatbands, which I definitely recommend using under all types of grips.
